Transparent indicators, not black-box tips
Phenomen's numbers don't come from a language model guessing. Prices and technical indicators are computed from Israeli market data and stored in our own database — deterministic and inspectable.
What is price doing right now?
Every symbol carries a set of precomputed daily indicators, so charts and signals are grounded in real numbers rather than model guesses:
RSI (14)
Relative Strength Index — momentum on a 0–100 scale to flag overbought and oversold conditions.
MACD
Moving Average Convergence Divergence — trend and momentum from the relationship between moving averages.
SMA 20 / 50 / 200
Simple moving averages across short, medium, and long windows for trend direction.
Stochastic %K / %D (14)
An oscillator locating price within its recent range — the basis of the anticipation scanner.
MFI (14)
Money Flow Index — a volume-weighted momentum read on buying and selling pressure.
CCI (20)
Commodity Channel Index — how far price has strayed from its statistical mean.
Volatility envelopes (20, 2σ)
Bands two standard deviations around a 20-period average, framing normal versus stretched moves.
StdDev (20)
Standard deviation of price over 20 periods — a plain read on recent volatility.
What is the market doing?
Three market-wide signals turn the raw indicators into a read on regime and opportunity — each one inspectable, none inferred by a model:
Market Spirit
A traffic-light regime read — defense, selective, or attack — summarizing whether conditions favor caution or offense.
Momentum scanner
Ranks the market by momentum with persistence filtering and leader detection, so durable strength surfaces ahead of noise.
Anticipation scanner
Finds pre-uptrend setups from Stochastic signals with priority ratings — candidates building before a breakout.
How the signals fit together
Market Spirit sets the backdrop — the regime you're operating in. Momentum surfaces where strength already exists; anticipation surfaces where it may be about to. Read together, they move you from market-wide context down to individual candidates.
Coverage spans TASE-listed equities and indices (defaulting to TA-125), with both daily end-of-day data and live intraday charts during trading hours.
Where the data comes from
Prices and volumes come from Israeli market data APIs and are stored in our own PostgreSQL database, where the technical indicators above are precomputed — not inferred by a model.
Israeli market trading hours are Sunday through Thursday, 09:45 to 17:30 Israel time. End-of-day data reflects the most recent close; live intraday endpoints return empty results when the market is closed.
We describe what each indicator and signal measures rather than exact proprietary weightings, so you can judge the reasoning without us handing over the formula.
